Welcome »
My name is Fr. Dr.Aloysius Lwanga Bukenya, son of
Mr. Marsiale Lwanga Ssalonga and the late Santurnina Namatovu. I was born at
Jjongoza village in the Rakai District in the early 1960s. I was baptised Roman
Catholic Kabuwoko Catholic Church by the late Msg. Damian Aliguma. I define
myself through my parentage and place of origin, and faith because these are the
most stable part of me. Currently, I am a religious missionary Catholic priest,
university lecturer and a Rotarian. This shows how through the many years of my
life history, so far, I have been socialised to be so linked up with many people
through education, religious affiliation and humanitarian philosophies and
practices. I welcome you to my part of this website, and I hope that through interaction we
can continue to dialogue, to socialise and to develop various spheres of
knowledge to help us look into the many challenges that threaten our world as we
look for lasting solutions.

ACADEMIC TRAINING:
My academic training has been vocational oriented and has made me look at
multidisciplinary training and the best form of education. I trained as a Roman
Catholic priest, then as a secondary school teacher at Makerere University (1991
-1994), then as a research in social issues and a university lecturer at the
University of Warwick, England, U.K.
I am interested in providing professional services in schools and communities,
material progress for our third world countries, and in making our societies
homes where everybody can feel at home.
I hope that through continuous interaction we can share in many debates,
discussions, joint analysis of issues, to widen our understanding of the world,
and
for the betterment of our personal and social lives.
I shall from time to time send information to this website, for you to critique,
and please, join me in understanding the world as you share your views with me
and all friends.
Welcome.
